Colleague on 2 different plates

I was leaving for lunch this afternoon and a colleague was driving out, noticed she was driving on an MP plate. But then when i caught up I realised that her rear plate is a GP one.

Im not the most law abiding citizen, but this is pushing it...

Stolen car?

That is what they normally do to stolen cars.

Clarity: turns out we were going to the same place for lunch and I decided to ask. The MP plate is rivoted on, and she just recently bought the car. Its been registered on the GP plate and the disc reflects the GP plate. Getting it removed over the weekend. Looks very suspicious as it stands though...
