Collecting 2010 tickets

Does anyone know how I can get my friend to collect my WC tickets? He is going there and I thought it would save me a trip if he collects mine as well.
 
If its the same as the confed you will need to be there, to present your credit card that you used to purchase the tickets with, and your id or drivers license
 
Not possible. There might be a way but then you have to transfer the tickets into his name - check the FIFA ticketing rules on their website.

Is he 'tech smart' and do you trust him? What you could do is have him use the ticketing machine, and not the people at the counter at the ticketing centre. He would need to be carrying your credit card though. From what I understand the ticketing machine will only check that the CC is the same as those used to buy the tickets.

yip he's quite clued up and I trust him. Didn't know there were printing machines at the centre
 
When I collected mine there was a vending machine. All I did was stick my credit card in, and it gave me the tickets.
 
I just rocked up with my credit card. They didnt ask for my ID, I put it in the machine & took it out. It showed on the screen how many games & tickets I had, I confirmed & that was it.

You need your ID if you go to one of the counters and get someone there to help you.
