I really like this short clip. He plays it beautifully. I've never hear it played like this. I heard it through new ears this evening.

This is a fine example of Hofmann's philosophy that one should let the music do the work; Beethoven knew how to compose, if the pianist will just let his music be. Most pianists turn this movement into a virtuoso showpiece, but Farrell's slow and highly rhythmic playing brings out the true beauty of the piece.

It was just that one tune. Everyone in my house is just so sick of hearing that. I have a piano in my living room that I mess around on a little bit.
