Looking at by a Colour laser printer

Probally about 500 prints a month

I was look at the HP CP2025n but it is discontinued.

Anyone got some recommendations, I need to think about tonner costs as well as some of the cheaper printer cost a fortune in toner.

Anyone had any luk with something nice ?

Er, colour laser printers are generally not recommended. The cost generally doesn't outweigh the benefit as colour toner is much more expensive than black toner or inkjet cartridges, but the print quality leaves a lot to be desired. If I were you, I would get a normal mono-laser and an inkjet for colour prints. If print quality doesn't matter however, then maybe look at colour lasers.

We got the HP Laserjet 1415fnw and print quality is excellent.

I refuse absolutely to purchase any more [-]ink[/-]crapjets as these generally tend to give more hassle than it's worth, especially after standing idle for a long period.

We're quite happy with our CP1025nw, but don't get it if you need colour prints in a hurry - its slower than an inkjet if there's colour on the document due to the carousel system used to move the cartridges. You also can't use wireless and wired networking at the same time (unless I did something wrong).

Any Recommendations I am Looking for simple .. low cost per page for letter heads and pricelists mostly grey and red
no duplexing required, no scanning nessecary.

speed not really an issue either

We have a hp k550 and it gave good service. Used for home business and only gave an issue now after about 5 years of almost daily use.
Took it in for repairs but didn't yet get a quote.

Got a HP CP1025 here and i just gotta say BS to "laser printer quality leaves a lot to be desired"
sure, you won't be able to print with the extreme quality of an inkjet when set to "3600dpi" on glossy paper, but seriously, how long is printing going to last?

Color prints look pretty damn decent even on normal paper if you ask me - plus the page never gets "soggy" even when printing page-sized pictures.

Laser toner might also be a little more expensive per color (mine is around R600 or something) but you get thousand upon thousands of prints instead of a few hundred.
Speed is amazing when printing in mono, and color printing aint bad either - I will never, ever, ever buy another inkjet POS.

The best advice I can give you is to rather buy a decent printer instead of trying to save money on that - the cheaper the printer the more expensive the toner/ink.
Ink cartridges just never last. :p
