Yes - I know one buys a car for themselves and not for others ... but I've had a number of different opinions on this particular colour. Yay or nay ?

Nay. I like blue, but prefer something a little darker and more metallic.

SMURF GP is already taken by a Porsche of the same colour ;)

... and also heard about the resale being an issue.

Btw - this the car that the colour comes from

Don't know if I like the look of that C30. Looks good on the V40...

No option on the car ... I'm taking it or getting nothing right now ;)

Wrapping it or painting it?
Why not spend that money on quality wheels and performance parts?

At this stage I'm not 100% sure if I'll get the car or even that colour ... they're busy working on figures and I need to get rid of my current one as well. But we'll see :P

@ Haldex - if I get it, I won'y be doing either to it.

@ d7e7r7 - that's the Polestar blue one, yea. But your link refers to the actual Polestar concept (I think they made a 500 afterwards) which is 300kw+ AWD 0-96km/h in 4.2 sec and kills pretty much every hot hatch out there. Apart from not being for sale, the estimated cost if it were is near R1 million.

This is the standard C30 in the Polestar colours with Polestar software from the factory (184kw/370nm) - so it's got the little Polestar bade at the rear, but it's not *the* Polestar.

I think some will know the colour and think 'cool!' and others just think it's baby blue :/

Great to see that your finally coming out of the closet. (both on car and the color... )
Why aren't you buying a real car?
