Coloured Swimming Pool Lens?

Does anyone know where I can get one in SA?

Just the plain old normal pool lens that most people have in their swimming pool. Any colour other than Blue?

NOT LED!
 
Dunno about lens but I know you can buy multicolour lights.
 
Just go to builders warehouse and buy a can of aerosol spray in the color you want, and spray the inside. They have aerosols for glass that are translucent.
 
Most of the multicoloured lights I have seen cost an arm and a leg. Unless your talking about just the bulb itself. Maybe I should try find one that fits. Its the standard VW Beetle headlight that every pool shop I have been into sells.

I guess the spraying would work. But then I would have to find a Clear coloured lens to replace the blue one I now have in.. so where would I find ANY colour other than blue :(

actually it was more along the lines of "what did the brasse do to the poor oukes pool now!

I don't know if you have a specific purpose other than just making the pool look pretty; but I would recommend spending the extra amount for an LED coloured light. The VW lights blow every now and then, in winter you don't want to change them as the water is cold, you have to make sure the wires are watertight, the lens breaks or shifts. LED is cost effective in the long run, low maintenance and you will have a pretty pool all year round.
 
Its pretty much just for the looks. I have a fibreglass pool and the light fitting has been "glassed" in. So its not to easy to change to a different system. Changing the bulb though is easy, I did it on Sat and it took a few minutes. The light pops' out if you know where to press. So even in winter it isn't a problem. Of course after changing it I found out it was a lose wire so even the money I spent on Sat was for nothing as the old light has been working for 5 years and now still is

Looks like I am going to have to go LED though as there as conversion kit to adapt to how mine fits right now. Still a pain, that its going to cost R700+ instead of a R50 lens
