Come on Axxess where are the new prices?
After Afrihost reveal their uncapped prices il make my decision on my new ISP:)
 
Ya exactly, no comment, no progress, definately not staying with you when i can get the exact same service for alot cheaper!
FAIL!
 
They are rapidly going from ISP of the year (was it 2 years ago?) to one of the worst at the moment. Their prepaid and data bundles were very good 2 years ago, Afrihost came along, blew everybody out of the water and they did not respond, did not even bothered to change their pricing the tiniest little bit, it's exactly what it was then!! So they focussed on their uncapped service which was great apparently with full line speed after hours but along came MWEB, stir things up again and guess what, Axxess did not respond and I will put money on it, they won't at a later stage too!!! If there is a lemon award for ISP's they should get it!!
 
Axxess have consistent 4MB speeds after hours, no matter what. Mweb still hasn't matched that, and until someone does, I'm sticking with them.

The line has been rock solid for a year now, and I'll pay a premium for that.
 
Was a loyal Axxess supporter a while ago. Have since move on to better things.
 
I emailed them, They came back with "The directors are looking into something..."
I'll stick with them another month or so.... I learned the hard way with Neotel, what it looks like on paper aint always what it is.
Mweb has just been too focused on rear ending the consumer for so long that I will not jump into bed with them without a thought now.
I will wait and see how its going in a month, and if Axxess has still not got a competitive product, and the mwebbers don't sound like the neotellers/ibursters/screamers I will switch.

Afrihost coming to the part now as well. From the service i currently get with them, I will move to their uncapped product as soon as its available. No need to test the waters first.

Good point, I will probably use Afrihost or WA before I risk mweb again. But honestly, I would rather see them drop the price of my current product at Axxess

Id rather see the price come down than move, but i dont think they will, so waiting for Afri?
 
i'm with axxess currently... and yes their line is constant speed afterhours, so i cant complain there and i have never had any trouble or bad service yet.
so hopefully we will see some effort on their part with pricing or maybe beter throtteling during the day from them
i dont just wanna jump ship and in a month or 2 the other ISP's struggle when the userbase is high
so here's to hope that axxess maybe have something up their sleeve
 
1) The entire account is throttled to 192k during the day.
2) It is double the price of the new offerings.

It is a huge ask for people to stick around with Axxess while either of these two barriers remain in place.
 
and afrihost also joins party and wait.... no axxess, maybe they are passed out somewhere!

I've noticed I only get 330kb/s from Axxess on uncapped 4mb/s since Mweb launched uncapped. (I also get 330kb/s on Mweb, but if I download from non rapidshare links it is proper 4mb/s)

Prior to that I got 440kb/s plus on Axxess.
Is axxess shaping rapidshare now? (I have premium acct)

Am I the only one noticing this?
