Comfortline Ergonomic Chairs

I've been doing research on getting a good quality ergonomic office chair to replace the 1K junk Makro chair that has given me 5 years of use. AllOffice is here in Cape Town and they're selling these Comfortline chairs that look really solid, but I wanted to ask if anyone else has tried them or has experience with the brand? The 8 year warranty is impressive and beats a lot of the other brands I've seen in SA.

Update: So I went to AllOffice yesterday - they're obviously doing well for themselves - they have a really fancy and nice looking showroom. Christi was very helpful, and after trying on quite a few of the comfortline chairs as well as the Merryfair, I settled on the black operators chair. It personally felt softer and more comfortable than the more expensive grey version, and felt better than the more expensive Merryfair chairs (which have a 3 year warranty compared to the Comfortline 8 year warranty). They told me they can do a thing where you try a chair for 7 days before you buy it, but the one I wanted would only be available for this program at the start of April. They also said that you can return it within 30 days if you're not happy, even if there is wear and tear on the wheels, so I decided to just buy it. First impressions are very positive - it's a dramatic upgrade to my previous chair, and feels so much better for my back and posture. I haven't yet sat on it for an extended period of time though.

The two things that I wish were a bit better are the fact that I can't adjust the headrest slightly more forward, so I feel I have to pull my neck slightly back to make contact with it; and the second is that I can't move the arm rests even more inwards than just 20 degrees or so, which would make it even more comfortable. I think I'll get used to both of those gripes, but all in all I'm really happy. It feels like going from a cheap skorokoro to a Ferrari or something, when you compare it to my old chair.

Update - so after using the Comfortline for just over two weeks, I began to realise that the lumbar support just wasn't for me. No matter how much I adjusted the chair, I found my lower back hurting and felt uncomfortable. I think for 8 out of 10 people, the chair will be a dream to use, but for me, it just wasn't the right fit. I called AllOffice and they picked up the chair within 2 hours for a return and also sent out out their Leaf chair for me to test for 7 days and I'm quite confident that this is the one for me - it's super comfortable and I much prefer the lumbar support. I just wish the arm rests were slightly bigger like the Comfortline series, but on the bright side they can be adjusted in or outwards to more of a degree than the Comfortline.

We've been using 2 of their 'Adapt' chairs for a few years now - (Link). We work from home and use these quite heavily. I am very happy about how they stand up to daily use/abuse.

Their overall service and delivery was awesome. I cant recommend them enough.

It's almost a similar experience I had. The NetOne was not for me but the Enjoy I absolutely love. My wife is still happy with her NetOne.

Chairs are very personal as every person's body is different.
 
bought this chair last week.Basic functional chair "that just works".I like it in that its simple and promotes good back posture (ie its difficult to slouch , so you always sitting upright).

So true - AllOffice is really great here in that you can return the chair within 30 days even if there's wear and tear on the wheels for eg, and also the 7 day try before you buy policy.

Yup, they're really great. And the 8 year warranty is absolutely insane and speaks to their confidence in the quality.

I have just ordered this after trying it out in the showroom. I also felt it was a lot nicer than the merryfair chair I had actually gone in to try. I'm about 185cm tall for reference. Wish me luck. How are you finding it a couple weeks in?

The Leaf chair is AWESOME. Just insanely comfortable, and I love how the chair moves as you back moves from side to side, when you want to stretch. I suspect I may have gotten a faulty model with the locking mechanism for the back tilt not seeming to reliably stay locked. I expect it'll be a breeze to get a replacement or fix if I'm certain there is an issue - because their customer service is incredible.

I tried them at AllOffice, and remember being one quite comfortable, but the mesh and TPU ones just weren't for me. I found the AllOffice chairs more comfortable and the warranty is 8 instead 3 years like with the Merryfair - and the merryfair ones are a good deal more expensive.

I'm 179cm - ideally would have wanted the head/neck rest to be able to go up slightly higher, but I'm nitpicking - and you don't need to be resting your neck to have a good posture.
 
Look at those physio chairs
 
Ok so I have switched over to the WAU from the leaf. The leaf is great except that the headrest needs to go a couple clicks higher for me.
