Some movies should just be left alone and not be revived, the exceptional failure of the last try at a re-boot should have been proof enough of it

I'd generally agree. In fact, all evidence from Holly supports your hypothesis. Every now and then, though, I have high hopes for a surprise.

Just think the abomination if they try and re-make a Hitchcock movie or try and re-make my favorite of all time Casablanca, just can't capture the magic of the original again.
