Modise stresses the department is looking after the interests of the economy. He points out that the department played a key role in the formulation and implementation of the Electronic Communications Act of 2006, as well as the establishment of Neotel, the second national operator.
That you did, played a significant part in the delays, nothing to go patting yourself on the back about.
As for looking after the economy, shudddup. You probably also subscribe to our entire country being swamped by a tsunami, like Lyndall.

I agree though that transferring the shares would do probably very little.
Having DoC and government department officials declare the TELKOM interests would go a lot further. Lets see who is really looking after who here.

The ECA is currently unenforcable because ICASA are in complete disarray. And Neotel is 5 years late.
