I need your help, I moved into a new apartment where there is a communal satellite, I used to watch free to air channels using a freevision decorder which uses the same dish/lnb as dstv.
The problem is I am not able to watch this channels at my new apartment but I can get SABC1-3, etv, tswane and joburg tv.
I had previously tried to split the lnb cable at my old place and I experienced the same, some channels were not available.
Could this be the reason why I can not get some free to air channels, especially all church channels?
Could it be that the lnb in a communal setup is split in such a way that it loses some stregth?
If any of the above questions is yes, what is the communal satalite setup and what is my best option at the moment?
Should I perhaps mount a dish that I am sure the lnb will be be split in anyway?
