Three trains were set alight in Pretoria by angry commuters, police said on Friday.

Captain Prince Mokhabela said the first train was burnt in Pretoria North at 6pm.

"There was a power failure and commuters got angry as trains were not moving. People also burned trains at Walmerton and Winterveld," he said

WTF is the logic behind this ??

The same logic when they burn their own houses because they are upset with the government about something. The same logic that burn down their own factory when they are upset and while striking for increased pay. Go figure!

I was waiting for the riots. wonder if cancelling all train services to that area is ganna do nothing but inflame the situation.
 
It is both hillarious and sad.

Who could EVER be so stupid as to destroy his/her only means of transport? The IQ levels can't be too high... eish.

When there is a powercut (at work) they still get paid.
When there is a powercut on their way to work, they don't get paid:
Wouldn't you get upset as well?

Savages - there should be a minimum standard for voting. An IQ high enough to realise that, even if the power were to return soon, there is a problem if the train can no longer run at that stage...

Duh.

No I would stop voting for the ANC and no I would not burn the Train. Now they are even more fcuked and the transport costs are going to go up. upset maybe. Torch a train? I dont think so.
 
Makes sense... The train is late, so lets burn it down then its late forever! That will teach them!
