Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help me. I found the site Costtech (http://www.costtech.co.za/) a subsidiary of massive technologies. They seem to be based in Pretoria. They seem to have really cheap hardware components etc.

I am a bit skeptical to buy from them via EFT. Was wondering if anyone has heard about them or if there is some way i can verify that it is legit??

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've seen the website before was also gonna ask as they have some very cheap stuff!
masstech.co.za takes credit cards and all that but are slightly more expensive. Never bought from them, but going to give them a call tomorrow and maybe place a small order...

I'd rather go for Rebeltech... prices look better, and they're a reputable store.

Edit: They belong to MassTech... yeah, they're cool.

Thanks for the updates :)

I never heard of rebel tech? Could you give me more info in your dealings with them? ARe they reliable. As i am looking to buy an external seagate 1 tb hard drive and maybe get it delivered in Joburg.

Thanks for the much needed advice!!

Rebeltech is an online store in Jozie. I bought my last computer there (January iirc). Awesome service, just google them and see :)
If you're in Jozie you can pick it up too, save on delivery.

Sweet :D

Thanks alot for info!! Will definitly check it out!!

I bought a NAS from CostTech over the weekend, got it today :)

They are an online store based in PTA and seem like good guys! Its quite efficient to buy from them they are quite close to where I live, it works out cheaper than buying from my other usual supplier since I can pick-up directly from them so no delivery fee (although they do free delivery over a certain amount).

So, also nothing to complain about!

Really? Didn't see anything listed on their website.
I just ordered a couple components from IkonicIT , and their prices were generally cheaper than costtech anyway. We will see how the rest of the order and delivery goes though.

Just received my order from Costtech, great service even when it came to changing my order.

They charge a handling fee of like ~1.5% but components still worked out cheap and delivery is free for items over R450.

Costtech service.

Bought a Cosmos 2 from them two weeks ago. Excellent service.

I prefer to make payments with EFT or paypal. That way you don't have to send your credit card details to the
supplier.

For best prices you have to search all suppliers :).
