Complaint on Vodacom serves

Hi all

So Vodacom cuts my account with them for not paying, pay them and get my account activated, nice… no they go and double debit me 3 days later. I send a mail asking about it and if I can get my money back (first mail was 1 March) and they say it will take 1 to 2 working days to get back to me. Send a mail on Sunday (6 March) and someone will get back to me on Monday.
Send mail on Monday to them and got a call finally to say that my Vodacom account has bin credited so I wont pay that much. So I did not request them to credit my Vodacom account, I asked them to refund me. The consultant tells me that she will escalate it to a team leader and that was it. I don’t think that happened seeing as she was so quick to drop the phone.

Guys....please remember that you as the account holder needs to be responsible with your accounts...whether it be Vodacom, Edgars or whatever. If you can not meet your financial obligations in a certain month, the onus is on you to contact Vodacom accounts, explain the situation and if possible, do a promise to pay. If you simply leave it, the following will happen:

1. Creates a bad credit record with Vodacom SP
2. You will be charged for the returned debit order.
3. If not resolved speedily by yourself, Vodacom SP may cancell the contract, delete the line, blacklist you (and your phone) and hand you over to the legal department.

To avoid the above scenario, contact them and make arrangements before you default on your account with them.
 
@ ocleroux i do understand that but whats getting to me is that it takes them more then 4 days to get back to me about it and then they dont do wat i was asking for

Despite your advice Occie above no-one has the right to revert their billing error to a credit on your account.

Their mistake so they have to pay it back, immediately. Everything else is just scummy.

Getting a refund as cash is a long and tedious job with a large company such as VSP. In my personal opinion, it is not worth the effort and agrevation. As I have explained to psy via PM, the credits are showing on his account and therefore only the very small balance that is now remaining on the account will be debited with the next debit order.

Got a mail back to say that I will get the money in the next 5 to 7 days. So im gone have a my full bill at the end.

But it is sad that it was almost 7 days before I got a mail or phone call to let me know what was going on...
thanks for the help OC
