I bought an annual hosting solution with Domaincheap.co.za before it was acquired by Webafrica. The solution is expiring on 01 August and domain expiring on 03 August. Few weeks ago my current affairs news site was working but not is suspended with no reason. I reached out to Webafrica for a number of times but no one is responding to my ticket (# 3441893).
Any one facing same service?

Hi Slantal,

We definitely take every customer seriously and we need to apologise for the time taken to reply to your support ticket.

I have sent this off to our Hosting team and Manager so that they can get to the bottom of the issue.

We will be in touch shortly

Hi Slantal,

Our team are trying to get in touch with you but it seems your phone goes straight to Voicemail.

Can you please provide us with an alternative contact number.

How about just reinstating his account he already paid for while you try to make contact with him so his website can at least go online?

For all we know they did not pay their bill, or maybe they did. People are so quick to jump to conclusions.

You cheese me off early in the morning. Literally the first sentence of the OP post:

He paid domaincheap till August. Finished. Klaar.

So if you want to up your post count, go do it in the thread killer

My point was that you (the peanut gallery) are not aware of the facts but you are quick to jump to conclusions, not just in this post but many others. So relax and go do some work.

I had been living with my parents up until recently where we were using Webafrica for years, simply put indirectly, I've been a client for years. I now moved out and wanted to get internet and immediately opened an order with Webafrica. The ticket (8740518651) has been opened for 5 days now with no response. I have emailed them for information with no response, and the worst of it was when after opening a Live Chat this morning the session was just closed on me:

This is simply impolite and this person should be talked to, luckily they remained anonymous*

I am on the verge of looking for service elsewhere, can someone from Webafrica please respond!

There is a lot of admin that goes into migrations and company mergers when it comes to hosting and domains. So mistakes can be made, why your account was suspended could be due to a number of reasons. But besides that, if your not happy with the customer support your getting and feel its time to part ways then moving a website to another provider is a fairly simple task.
