Complaints: Mtn VS Vodacom.

Just checked out the VC threads. Nobody is complaining. Only info posts.
Mtn is complaints and more complaints.
Why is this? Perhaps Mtn should look into their failure to supply good service to clients.

Which VC threads are you referring to? The ones here on MyBB are full of complaints, but that is human nature, how many people find their way here to tell us how good their ISP is?

Well, I have always received terrible service from Vodacom, till I make some noise, then they respond. So I figured I will port to MTN. I must say, I am satisfied with MTN's customer service so far....as for coverage...it is CRAP! So I guess I will port back to Vodascum as soon as my contract expires. Fed up with the bad reception everywhere and home. It is so bad, my boss gave me a vodacom phone to use for work. Got a Voda tower a block away, always have great reception at home.

I've pointed it out pretty often, I've been an almost 12 year subscriber with MTN and I was very happy with them until their billing went pear shaped about 18 months ago and they did their damnedest to pretend there was no problem with their customers.

The way they turned their backs was a real issue with me and I'll probably not renew my contract. I understand that these things don't always run smoothly but their lack of transparency and respect for their clients is what did it for me. If they were honest instead of covering it up I would have respected them and tolerated the problems.

It looks like they are returning to business as usual but the damamge has been done I'm afraid.
