Telkom lines appear to be working fine here. At least the problem has been fixed - just shows that telkom, at least sometimes, is better then Sentech.

My ADSL router died last nite. It's flash got snuffed or something. A 2 minute call to the ADSL helpdesk, and the chap told me to take it in. <b>Walked</b> up to the Rosebank Mall this morning, 2 minutes from work, entered Telkom's Customer Service centre, and walked out with a fresh router 5 minutes later. Total RTT 15 minutes. Nett result. Happy customer.
When my Wireless modem's RX/TX LED's stopped function I <b>drove</b> to NoWire at Village Walk Sandton, waited 15 minutes before someone that "handles" modems could be found, only to be told that there's no swapout stock available. Total RTT 1 hour. Nett result. Zip.
Shocking.
