They probably had rubella, I had that as a kid, but generally people call it measles instead of Rubella or German measles. Also survival bias does exist as well, you will always get people who are like oh I had measles and survived, which is a stupid argument. That's like saying I survived the atomic bombs, they aren't so bad.

The thing is it actually starts showing sooner, but generally people dismiss them as they are just normal baby quirks. Also a lot of autistic people are so low on the scale they are perfectly functional as adults, thats why there is a scale.
Also the actual MMR vaccine is given differently per country so they cannot even nail that down, as most autistic traits can only really start being seen around 18 months.

One 4 years ago. It probably has the lowest morality rate in the world for anything. I bet cellphones kill more people. We should vaccinate against cellphones.

It is like those people who refuse to put seat-belts on children. They heard one story of where the person was trapped in the car by the seat-belt and now they don't believe they save lives. Only when your kid dies in an avoidable situation would you consider that people were actually correct about safety.

The irony is - the adult wears the seat-belt because the car beeps if they don't. Kid stands between the front seats so they can look out the front window. Or stands on the front seat. Or crawls around the backseat. Ether way - the adult will live to regret their decision.

Totally agree. You should use your seat-belt. However should the state force everyone to do it? Absolutely not.

Unrestrained children in cars, on today's roads, pose a danger to more than just themselves. They are a distraction to the driver and other drivers. It is law - and should be strongly enforced. Speak to any EMS personnel who respond to vehicle accidents.

The reality is that 700 people out of 300m got infected the last person to die was in 2014. It is not exactly an epidemic, everything is under control and people are fearmongering for absolutely no reason.

This completely irrational response helps and push more people to become antiwaxxers.

Do any of you guys have any statistics background? Do you realise how insignificant this is? This shouldn't even make the local news in the town were the outbreak actually happened.
 
Adults travelling to outbreak zones, or adults who were vaccinated prior to 1968 with an earlier prototype of the vaccine, should consider receiving another vaccination, federal officials say.

The problem is it can get out of hand very quickly. 700 people are more than enough to realise it can become a problem if it spreads.
