Completely removing paint off plastered walls.

Hi what's the best way to stip paint down to bare plaster ?
I plan on repainting however simply using a scraper doesn't remove all the paint. At certain parts of the wall the paint is hard and peeling which just scrapes off easy other parts have fine n flakey peeling paint which doesn't come out as good and then there's the parts that won't come off by simple scraping it leaves chip marks etc.

I own a 160bar washer gets the job done in certain areas only. I'll look into hiring a more powerful one. Thanks

Don't stress too much about getting every single flake off.. if need be, you can always start with permobond before doing your primer..

I'm doing the interior walls aswel. Previous owners had around 3 layers off old paint final layer is oil paint it's hard and cracks out when scraping leaving big areas without paint and then there's areas that the paint won't come out with scraping.....if it was smaller portions of paint that was removed I would level the wall out with some crackfilla but these are big portions.
I don't have much experience in home improvement so any help would be appreciated

That was my initial plan however the areas where the paint is coming out is to large for filler

A 230 mm angle grinder with big rotary wire brush does a good job. That's what the Wondercoat guys used before they coated my walls more than 10 years ago.

Hire one of @soulie workers, he's very good a Michelangelo with a hammer and chisel.

Scraper, wire brush, grinder with brush and pressure washer.

If paint is really bad apply bonding liquid to the surface first and then apply an oil based primer. Then first coat.
