After experiencing pure hell dealing with Telkom for the last 3 months, trying to get a line moved, I just thought I'd post of a rather good experience on the ISP side.
On Friday night I completed the online application at Imaginet's site for the "Freestyle 2000" package and the site said I could expect a call within one business day. As it was already Friday night I figured I'd maybe hear something from them on Monday. Not so. Saturday morning I get a call about my application. With some trepidation (since I knew it was going to be a public holiday) I asked that the account be activated on 1st March. On Tuesday afternoon I received an email with the account details, username and password etc. On Wednesday morning when I got up I plugged them in and... it worked!
After dealing with Telkom one tends to expect all companies to give horrible service, what a pleasant change to find that something supposedly simple (installing a line, creating a new account), can actually go off without a million hitches and delays. Good job!
