Compliments to Telkom Help Desk

Bought extra account online at http://online.telkomsa.net/external/ today (Sunday)

Up and running within minutes but 2nd concurrent login did not work. Phoned 0860100553 and the phone was answered in 3 rings by a gentleman whose name I forgot (was in shock remember!). He fixed it in under a minute by simply enquiring my new username.

Sorted and working!

I wonder what Mweb are going to tell me tomorrow when I tell them that we are about to blow the 9Gig account I have with them and what must a customer do to stay uncapped?

Long story, but basically my Nephew and his friend have been playing Counterstrike Source day and night for the last 2 weeks. They are doing NT1 or 2 and their holidays are different to normal schools or technikons.
My usual 6 GB account I have with Mweb was upgraded last week to 9 GB, but it still won’t be enough.

Its a helluva lot of money to pay at R739.00 :( for a 9 GB Account, just so that I can still browse overseas while the kids play CS Source.
Not Mweb's fault of course.

I would say you need to invent a new game for the kids :-

Moving the Lawn

Doing the Washing Up

AYCE? now where have I heard that before - definitely sounds familiar, oh wait, the company that had this awful contract for 12 months...it is all coming back to me now...

So, does AYCE now offer a month 2 month or 30 day notice contract?
 
Why not try the guys at Axxess (http://www.axxess.co.za)
No contracts just Month 2 Month!
Plus a lot cheaper like 30gb at R599.00 (Price Inc.Vat)
Or like the account I have at R399.00 for 10gb account.

Plus I like this in there FAQ's:
(Q) Do I have to sign a contract?
(A) There is no contract so if the bandwidth changes, or something better comes out, then you simply sign up with the best solution.

I knew I shouldn't have signed that stupid 24-month contract with Tiscali :(..now I have to wait another year to play BF2 online for reasonable amounts of time...
 
yep atm, go for axxess.co.za I have been in contact with them for a while, even before this offering and to be honest.. they dont bull****
 
complimenting telkom like this is probably a bad idea

they'll probably print it out, frame it, put in a safe, and use it as an example every opportunity they get, such as the icasa hearings, as to how "customers are satisfied"

infact they probably busy with a press release as we speak
