Comprehensive, 3rd party or fire, theft, 3rd party?

Just for a car? I'm so glad I'm passed that - I think my Golf 4 was also around R1200.

my dad is going to find out what is needed so that he can get insurance for me coz this is unacceptable.

Almost everyone I call either don't accept my age or just plain wont guanrantee a premium or they are over R1000...jeez, almost as much as I'm paying for my car!

Should I just take the plunge and take the R1000+ premiums for a car I litterally drive on weekends only and on long distance??
 
Which broker, the other post had lotsa brokers on them but then the post went sour and it was removed...any ideas pls?

Oh, MiWay got back to me, premuim is now R670/pm I almost jumped for joy! Then i read further...all kinds of crap, still can't guarantee premuim, only for 12 months IF YOU DONT CLAIM!!! WTF?
Why do I pay insurance then without the intention of claiming?
