Hiya! Can someone please tell me where or recommend a brand of compressed air cans or sprays for me, please?

I've been hunting & looking everywhere for some, but no one seems to know what I'm talking about. :(

Thanks!

I think photographic shops may have, they use it for blowing dust off lenses. Not 100% certain tho. Otherwise I know someone on this forum mentioned something about a bottle of ook fart, that could also work.

edit: bicycle shops have those little cans for pumping up tyres, could try that.

I managed to pick up a 3 in 1 computer, monitor cleaning kit which included a can of compressed air, crt screen cleaner and a soap spray for electronic equipment for around R70+-...... from *incredible connection* :)

Could try hobby shops maybe? I know you get these cans that they use for airbrushing, if you don't have or want to use a compressor. Not the cheapest, but it may be what you're looking for.

Can I add a caveat here...

beware of using those cans of compressed air on your very sensitive electronic components. In my experience they tend to spray some condensation when the spray "goes wrong" and that is the worst thing you want for those components... rust will result.

This tends to happen with all aerosol cans... and that makes these things just gimmicks in my opinion... nothing like a good blast with set of lungs! :p

Awesome, thanks for the posts folks! You guys have been a GREAT help! Dont know why I I didn't think of Incredible Corruption or hobby stores...

Just gave them a call, they have that cleaning kit for R84 now. Local Photography shop have a can (Salesman didnt know how big it was) for R120.

A friend also recommend Midas & to check the hardware section at Game stores & Makro...

At the moment I'm using a modified bicycle pump... Works okayish but isnt very powerfull.

Thanks again!
