I just did a dry compression test on my older Mazda B3 engine.
1&3 = 150
2&4 = 180

Anyone with engine experience to tell me what this means?
I know they should all be within 10%.
Thanks

It means cylinders 1 and 3 have lower compression then cylinders 2 and 4.Now its time to find out why the compression is low on those 2 cylinders.Could be a few things such as worn piston rings or head gaskets.

You should follow this up with leakdown test to further isolate the issue.

The leakdown test will tell you provide you with alot more answers , could be intake / exhaust valve leaks or piston rings worn.
