I remember reading either the PCF or NAG a few years back and they had a mini reveiw of this amazing pc chair.

It was black or silver and you could basically sit in it, with your feet extended, the monitor was placed on the chair, as it is one unit, it looked kinda like a racing chair, but much more comfortable, your feet had places to rest at the end.

Now I don't know about you guys, but I sit on normal pc chair at home, one of those that lift up with a little handle, I've got a bigger one with a huge back rest, but the stuff kills me on a daily basis. I lift up my feet and place it to the left of my keyboard on the extended desk, much more comfortable

So I'm not saying I'm going to buy one, if a pc chair supplier pops along this thread, but I'd love to know if anyone has a link to my description, or know if anything like it is locally available.

A three legged wooden stool.

The one leg is slightly shorter than the other two, and the top of the stool is split - meaning you best wear thick jeans when using it lest the "wee fellows" get bitten.

Keeps me focused.

a cardboard box flattened out... can't afford much else what with the cost of bandwidth in this "lovely" country of ours... thanks TELKOM, can I claim from you for medical bills due to piles etc?

I've got this better than usual grade typist's chair that has height and backrest adjustment levers ..and no annoying side arms. This means, depending on my mood (and knee flexibility) I can sit normally or cross-legged as I choose ..it takes moving the backrest waayyy back to do the cross-legged thing, but it's dead handy to have that option.

I think what you looking for is a "Gaming Chair". There are several different types, just google it to find out. I am not sure where in sa it can be purchased, although I did see one in the sunday times mag sometine last year, I think in was in the 'cool gagets' section.
