So I see on mygaming there's this ad for gunnar computer eyewear which links to http://my-gadgets.co.za/

There's even one called Gunnar Anime Amber Computer Eyewear:
"Gunnars are high performance prescription compatible computer eyewear optimised for the digital screen. Comprised of a proprietary lens material in an advanced geometry tuned for specific viewing distances and finished with custom formulated lens filters, tints and coatings so Gunnar’s indoor eyewear delivers an immediate and noticeable advantage when viewing any digital LCD screen."

Would anyone like to venture an opinion?
Can we have a mygaming review?
Is this rubbish gimmick gadgets?
Does it actually benefit long hour pc users?

I was actually watching an interview with an ex pro-gamer that was sponsored by gunnar. He said if he had to actually buy a pair, he wouldn't. It was an xbox player.....can't remember the name though.

The. Nerdiest. Thing. Ever.
Yup already hate wearing glasses as it is.
Now they're becoming a fad?

I remember once asking an oke if he's also now wearing glasses, since it was the first time I saw him with glasses.
He replied that he was only wearing them for fun. Now these weren't sunglasses, just pieces of plastic in a frame.
Why o why?

There are lots of different version available I remember call of duty even launched their own version and Gunnars also make special edition one for certain games,

but if I am not mistaken the cod one's marketing gimmick spec's\details where different saying it did something else.

I don't see the point of them, Only reason I would get them is to reduce eye strain if that even works.

Otherwise if they work as decent sunglasses I might get one,

On a different but related note how much are decent 3D glasses for gaming?(I see Gunnars also make, sell them but that is a bit expensive) And whats the difference between them if any?
