Ok, so I've bought a PS2 Slimline for someone for Christmas, it's not chipped and as I have a couple of NTSC games I need it chipped. I searched on the net and found www.computerforce.co.za. According to their website, they sell chips separately @ R250 or installed @ R650. As my dad is an electronics geek I decided to buy it separately.
I wanted to confirm stock as they are in Krugersdorp before I went through (from pretoria), no answer on the cell number listed on the site. I also did a whois and again only a cell number listed.
I decided to go through, to nr 3 Main Reef Road. That is not their address anymore
, luckily the lady pointed out that they have a new store in some dodgy shopping centre. So I went there only to be greeted by a lady with the b@tchiest attitude I have ever come across.
I then asked for the chip, which now, according to them they don't sell separately (although the site says they do). She just looks at me with a dull expression on her face when I asked her about the site.:erm:
In short, don't do business with them, they are really unprofessional and I wouldn't trust them leaving my PS with them.
