Hi I've recently been experiencing this problem, Initially I thought it was just a faulty usb device however over time i began noticing more usb devices are getting damaged and they're were all connected on my pc, might anyone know why it is doing this?

devices effected: wireless mouse and keyboard usb receiver, OTG flash storage device, bluetooth receiver
symptoms: mouse movement direction has become inverted, keyboard keys sometimes input the letter pressed and the letter next to it while only one key is pressed(confirmed that no dirt or debris is the cause of this). The flash storage device and the bluetooth receiver suffer similar symptoms: when plugged into their respective usb ports the device registers for a second and then disappears and reappears sometimes constantly as if it's physically being removed and being inserted back into the port, when inserted into a port it hadn't been in before it says its installing the drivers and then that same process as above takes place. inserting all damaged usb devices onto another computer displays the exact same effects so unfortunately the damage proves to be permanent

further suspicion: building power issue. I'm not certain about this one because my palms and feet often perspire alot, which means salt and water, if your'e reading this post you know how those three tango but when I touch a metal surface which is sometimes coated, for example the slide out casing of my desktop and my laptop's aluminum palm rest as well as say the tip of any cable connected to an electronic device like my tv or computer (hdmi, usb, bare ports) I can feel the current through it(The vibration feeling as you move your hand across the surface), most of the time I get a shock when touching the cables and seldomly when touching the coated parts of the palm rest or casing, through further testing it mostly happens when my feet are touching the floor, and seldomly when I'm lying on my bed(no electrical contact to the ground besides the laptops power cable)

That's all the information I have on the subject. Please let me know what you think this is. I do have a multimeter so if you want me to conduct any tests please let me know and provide instructions on how to do so

My pc was doing the same thing. Turned out to be the wall plug that was dodgy
