Hi there.

This is my PC's Specs:

i7 3770
Gigabyte z77-u3h
ATI HD7950
Seasonic mk12 750w
Gskill 2*4gb Ram @ 1333mhz
1tb samsung HDD

Now the problem is. I moved the computer from one location to another. I tried turning it on. The motherboard sang a little tune from the internal speaker. It lasted some seconds. The fans were spinning on my processor and gpu. Then I pressed the power again and nothing. The fans spin a little then it powers off.

What could it be?

Thanks for the help!

Might be shorting somewhere in the Case

I would suggest that you unplug the power connections, RAM and graphics card and then plug them in again.

As said above, try reseating everything. Could have gotten shaken up while moving. Ive had a similar issue before. I could switch PC on and it would be on but nothing would work, screen wouldnt pick up any signal. And as soon as I press the power switch again, it would go off instantly. Turns out my Graphics Card had given up, disconnected it and connected monitor to Onboard and it worked perfectly.

So if it reseating doesnt work, remove Graphics Card and see if it works.

The power supply and graphics card are under guarantee. The rest I don't have documentation for. So I'm hoping if something big happened, that it's one of those haha... Hopefully nothing serious.

I have found unplugging and plugging the motherboard power connector works in cases like this. Was told years ago that a cap in the power supply that needs to discharge sometimes does not, and this cause the power to not come on.

In this case, the power is coming on.

^ This, and make sure all the connections i.e power connections etc are firmly plugged, you might have just unplugged something by mistake when moving it.

How to Crack Beep Codes
Certain initial system errors represent beep codes. If you hear a beep sound upon turning on your system, that typically means that your system has encountered certain error and BIOS didn’t get enough time to display the information to the monitor. So, it might be a little tougher for a layman to make out the beep code and troubleshoot the issue. However, computer support professionals are there to assist users to deal with the situation. 1
You can restart the computer and listen very carefully if the beep sound comes again while it starts booting.
2
Pay a close attention to the number and nature of the sound- if it’s long or short and if the beeping repeats or not. Particular beep codes differ depending on the BIOS manufacturer; therefore make a note of it the way you like.
3
Make sure what brand of BIOS is there on your mother board; find online tech support to determine your BIOS manufacturer.
4
Consult with online computer support professionals to solve particular beep code with perfect approach.

"How did it beep?"
"It went beeeeep"
:D

I don't think there are any beeps.
The OP said the fan spins a little and then switches off, if I understood him correctly.

SUCCESS!!

Hey guys, I took the whole computer apart with my African Grey sitting on my head.

Just as I put everything back Together, I was telling myself this is not gonna work.

aaaand TADA! It turned on - no problem!

Thanks for the help.

Regarding the beeping. It made a whole melody. Like for 3-4 seconds of a melodious tune. Don't know what that means.

Bad idea that. The African Grey above your shoulders. He/She will think he/she is the dominant one.

Glad to hear the pc is okay.
