can i safely say the board is fried?or can one of you ultimate nerds help me? :P

any suggestions?

many thanks!

Winfast used to make graphics cards and motherboards back in the day.

It sounds like the mobo is fried.... any lights come on when you plug everything in?

not on the board case power led and hdd are working fine...so i have a spare 775 board and cpu should i just test the gpu ram and hdd.....and if they are working tell him to go fork out for 775 board andi have a spare celeron 1.8ghz 430 to give him(i feel bad for him and this pc is just for general movie watching and dvd copying nothing hectic)but il give the board another try tonight

I know this sounds crazy but has worked in the past on an ecs board. replace the bios battery they should be the same on most boards cr232 or cr235 are the common ones
