Computer programmer fined for card skimming device

Wow, seems like a pretty lenient sentence, especially seeing as it's his second conviction!

Because American bank have determined that it is cheaper for them to absorb the losses than to replace all card terminals in the US with Chip cards.

As such other card issuers worldwide need to enable their CC to be used without the chip, just by swiping so that they can work in the US.
