Computer vrekked. Savegames lost. Can I use Yours?

As in title. Games concerned are Stalker: Clear Sky and Fallout3.

had made considerable progress in both, and can't face having to go through it all again

I assume I would need the entire user profile + savegames for them to work. Anyone tried something like this before?

Stalker was bought (I used a product key etc), not sure if this affects my ability to use someone else's savegames.

Fallout was crscked, so might actually turn out easier to repair? Fancy that

Anyone have any suggestions on where to start with this?

If you can help, pls let me know, and I can tell you where abouts I was/how far in storyline for each game.

Here's one solution... start again, but with a higher difficulty level.

i uninstalled Fallout 3 yesterday,installing it now.

2 games, which I thought were cool. I struggle to fit playing time in as it is! I was already playing on hard, at least, I was not finding it easy Fallout3, I had just sorted out that the missing satellite thing.

Stalker, I was closing in on the 'fugitive/target' and had just moved to a new area, the Garbage, I think. Suggestions/help would be appreciated, thaks.
