Has anyone here used www.computershare.co.za before? Is it supposed to be quite straightforward? Would one register using details from one company's shares that one owns, and then add the other companies later on?

I suppose I would need to find the statements that they have posted me in the snail mail and use the reference codes from there?

<edit>The shares are of the Sasol Inzalo, Vodacom YeboYethu and MTN Zakhele variety.

Looks like I need to use https://www.yeboyethushares.co.za/Default.aspx
and https://www.mtnz.co.za/ instead of the Computershare site. For Sasol Inzalo contact ComputerShare to get up and running.

What are your intentions?
I wish to know what my share portfolio looks like so that I don't have to deal with paper statements any longer. i.e. When I fill out my tax return or need to fill out some financial affordability questionaire, I have no idea what my handful of shares are worth. Could be anything from 5k to 50k. Totally clueless right now

Where are your shares located? In the UK?

There are possibly other options to keep track of your stocks.

Why don't you just track it on the platform that you use to trade?

The shares are of the Sasol Inzalo, Vodacom YeboYethu and MTN Zakhele variety. I have not traded them or even looked at them since being issued them. Perhaps I am using the wrong portal?

It sounds like they are all BEE shares, that's probably why you don't have a proper trading portal which would normally provide this information.

I think some of them have their own trading platforms (know MTN has one). Google them, or go to some of the share forums around, these BEE shares have been discussed there.

Yip, some of them have over-the-counter (OTC) platforms. I think some of them can be traded already as the lock-in period has expired.

Updated my OP with the correct URLs for Vodacom YeboYethu and MTN Zakhele. For Sasol Inzalo they do use ComputerShare but it seems one has to contact ComputerShare to get up and running with that.
