So, I wonder how many people drove past there this weekend and saw the car, but made nothing off it. Doesn't look like a quiet street.Quarry doesn't seem and filled with water on google maps.

That isn't a quarry. It is the hole for foundations for some development that never took place.

So is the article wrong in that it is a foundation hole and not a quarry or is the article wrong for claiming the wrong street?

There is long grass, bushes and trees around the entire area, so you would really need to take a good look to see if something was there.

They are wrong for stating it is a quarry.
When they said the corner of Paul Kruger and Bird street, I knew exactly where it was. (You really cannot miss it).
