For the entire year I have been trying to make my 3Gb MWeb account (family account) last and have yet to go a month without having to buy more bandwidth (R100/Gb). I have decided that a 10GB local account is in order so that I can play on SA game servers without messing up my cap.

My question is, how many computers can connect at once to the OpenWeb 10Gb local only? I need to be able to connect at least 2 at the same time, but the more the merrier. The computers are all on one network, but dial out through a bridged router.

If OpenWeb doesn't support more than 2 PC's connected at once, which local only account should I get (price being the main issue)?

Generally speaking, IS allows 2 concurrent sessions, while SAIX allows 4. It is only uncapped accounts that may limit you to 1 session.

jaredfish, buy Prepaid local only account from Axxess.

I think it costs around R17-R19 per gig. But u can buy 5gig local only data in bulk. and then use it over 12months or somethin'

Saix based accounts also offers lower pings for gaming, vs IS Accounts

Shot for the speedy replies. I ended up getting a 10Gb OpenWeb account to try out, which both my brother and I have been playing online with all day. Haven't tried connection 3 yet but at the end of the day, 2 is enough ;)
