Hi... Would just like to know..

Is concurrent sessions still relevant if I use 3 pc's through a netgear wireless router, because SAOL has 2 different prices for the 10G option. 1 with 2 concurrent, and one with 4, which is more expensive....

Toss-up basically between SAOL or WEbafrica.....

I also use a netgear router. I have 4 PC's at home connecting through it all on private 192.168 IP's. The router is running in router mode, so ONLY the router is making a connection. From an ISP point of view there is only one connection. Your router just does the required NATING to handle the private PC's. this is the way I understand it, some of the network gurus need to just confirm if this is correct or not. I am with MWEB/Webafrica and have never had a problem from them regarding multiple connections. HTH

If your router does the actual connection, then your ISP only see's 1 connection.

If your PC's connect via a 'dial-up icon' on your desktop (PPPoE), then each PC is seen as a connection...

:-)

With the cheaper 10 Gig SAOL account you have two options :
1. Use the account from 2 different ADSL lines
2. Use the account on a single ADSL line but have 4 connections on that line.

If you are using a router and will only be using the account from a single ADSL line, then you will only need the 10 Gig Dual account.
