I have wireless broadband installed but the connection goes directly into my LAN cable connector on my PC, how do I do add a wireless router ( like Telkom router) into this configuration.

Depends how your wisp is connecting you? E.g pppoe, static ip.... best bet would be to get a wireless AP with a WAN port and 4x LAN ports. The cable coming from the roof would go into the WAN port. From there you would configure your pppoe or static ip.

Got the same setup, the router I've got Netgear N600 has 4 LAN ports and one called cable/fibre, plugging the connection from the dish in there worked instantly, no config required.

That being said I have also used a D-Link router for this (without the special port) and after removing the ADSL settings it worked just ine.

Yup if your wisp has the config details on the unit on the roof. Then all is needed is a switch or wireless ap.
