Hi Guys,

Please can i have some advice on RPC over HTTP for Outlook version for Mac. I know it doesn't use OWA but then how can I configure the laptop to use mail remotely?

I have tried https://{server.company.com}/ews/exchange.asmx but this doesn't work if it is even the correct address.

thanks a mail

What version of Exchange do you have?
What version of Entourage for mac are you using?
Is OWA working from the outside?

What version of Exchange do you have? 2007 sp1 rollup10
What version of Entourage for mac are you using? Outlook for Mac 2011 (Not Entourage)
Is OWA working from the outside? yup

Check the Exchange Proxy settings on a Windows pc - look for the URL to connect proxy server to Exchange, and the SSL url that starts with msstd:ExchangeServerURL .
This is what you need to type in outlook for mac 2011.

I have tried this, just says cannot connect

You need to open a web browser and visit the exchange web page and import the security certificate before Outlook can use the certificate to communicate with the server.

when i attempt a connection it asks to allow the cert, i have allowed it and trusted it so its not a cert issue?
