Configuring the AVR for your Speakers

I have the Jamo S428HCS3 with AVR158 Harman Kardon -> I am in the process of configuring speakers but a tad bit confused.

AVR requires me to get the speaker cross over frequencies. This I got from speaker tech spec listed as 2500Hz

BUT when setting the values on the receiver, my options are LARGE(if below 40),40Hz,60Hz,80Hz,100Hz,120Hz,150Hz,200Hz

What do I select?

Sorry if I seem a bit confused here....

2500Hz would be a crossover freq between midrange and say a tweeter on a normal speaker.

The values you giving here sounds more like the crossover between the front and your sub.
So basically anything lower than this selected value will rather be sent to the SUB and not your fronts.

Perhaps is you give more details on what speakers you have where and what/how you would like them to work/sound...

Front speakers would be "large".

Surrounds, cross over at 100hz. Frequency response on those is 90-20000hz

2500Hz is wrong. Even the most basic, crappy speakers usually go down to 200Hz. You're probably reading the wrong thing. In fact since that's quite a nice system, I'm sure you're looking at the wrong thing. That's probably an internal crossover to the tweeters.

The crossover point is the low-frequency cut-off for your speakers, any signals with a lower frequency will be sent to the subwoofer instead. You should thus try to set the crossover just above the lowest frequency your speakers can properly reproduce and below the subwoofer's highest point (to have some overlap) to ensure all frequencies are properly played.

Looking at the spec sheet for that system, the frequency response for the fronts are 42-20k, surrounds and center are 90-20k. Normally those would all qualify as large as far as I know but since your receiver says large is for below 40 only, set all of your speakers to "small", front crossover at 60, rear and center at 100hz. If you only have 1 crossover setting, set it to 100 like Sinbad said.
