Anyone with the conformity specification as to what a LED is? NRCS made a supplier relabel all their inbound stock as LCD as it did not meet the specification to be called a LED.
(I do know the difference between the two ie LED from a consumer perspective is accepted as a LED backlit LCD screen as opposed to fluorescent)
The shipment that was forced to be relabeled was just that - LED backlit units - so it is begging the question - what other standards apply to allow some to go labelled as LED and others LCD.
I have chased back to SABS and NRCS and they say I need to look at the IEC docs (think it was 6065 and 6095) but they are only available if purchased. Anyone have access to these docs and able to provide the technical specs applied by our regulators?
