Connect Mac to DSL-2750U printer

DLink's DSL-2750u modem ships with Telkom's deals at the moment. It has a 3G USB modem slot that can also take a printer. If I connect a printer to it, connecting on Windows is not a problem (add network printer at http://10.0.0.2:651/printers/MODELNAME

Now try that on a Mac - and I know what I am doing on a Mac (not on windows). Any one had any luck?

Nope - and now I remember I think I just gave up because the excuses were all BS.
