Hi guys, some help please

i have one hd-pvr decoder currently, and plan on hooking up another hd pvr on an extra view.
I want to do a self install, have the multi switch and 2 cables running to the new decoder.
what other cables or accessories would i need to make sure i get it right first time?

dstv call centre seems to be on leave - number 99 in queue - no thanks not holding on

Hi,
The only other thing you'll need is a an RF cable linking the RF-Out on the Primary (existing) decoder to the RF-In on the secondary decoder. Once you have this in place, you'll have to do the call centre thing, hold on for the first level support, tell them you want to set up extraview and then hold on again for the extraview support guys. They'll take you through the decoder configuration and do the activation on their side at the same time.

As Q-Tech says, except you can use either RF in or RF out ports, doesnt matter, they do the same thing with regard to Xtraview, just make sure your settings match the physical cables.
Choosing which you will use should be determined by any further RF signal distribution you are doing
