I have a TP-Link TD-W8950ND and a Netgear DGN2200. I disabled DHCP (on the Netgear) and connected them together with a LAN cable. I can access the TP-Link's website, but not Netgear's.
I also cannot access the storage connected to the Netgear (which I intend to use this setup for)
Can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

You currently have both devices on Different IP address ranges.

Have a look at which IP address range the TP-link dishes out, then note it down. You can do this by pressing Windows key+r and then typing "cmd" into the run box followed by enter. Then type in "ipconfig /all" followed by enter.

It will list a good amount of info. Have a look at the Heading that Says Ethernet Adapter or Local Area Connection.

Under It's heading you will see IPv4 Address and Subnet.

That will be the range your TP link operates on.

The next step is to assign your network card a temporary static IP address with the same IP address range and subnet as your tp-link unit.

Now if you remember what your Netgears ip address range was, assign your network adapter a secondary address based on this range by going to your network adapters TCP/IPv4 properties where you input the address and then click on advanced.

Now here is the trick, If the TP-Link is a pure WAN router then it will have a WAN port on the back side of it. The Netgear should not be plugged into this port and instead be connected to one of the normal Switch Ethernet Ports on the back.
This will put it on the same physical layer and allow you to connect to its web interface.

Now the next step to do is to go into the Netgears Management Page and Under LAN change its IP address to the same IP address Range and Subnet that the TP-Link uses. Assign it a IP-Address that is outside of the TP-links DHCP server assignment range but still on the same subnet and IP range. For example the TP-Link might be assigning IP Ranges from 192.168.1.99-10.158.1.254 subnet 255.255.255.0 so then you would assign the Netgear an IP address outside of this range of lets say 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.1.10 or 192.168.1.80 with subnet 255.255.255.0.

Once you have done this and saved the settings the Netgear unit will most probably reboot and you should be able to access it on it's new IP address on the same subnet as the tp-Link as it now uses the same IP address range and Subnet Mask.

You can now put your PC's network card back on DHCP client mode and use the TP-Link to pass you a new fresh IP address as per usual.

Kind Regards,
Arno

Nice and helpful ...

Instead of posting useless comments why not take my post and try to simplify it or improve upon it instead :)

There could be things that I left out or could explain better.

Kind Regards,

Thank for the help AG-TIG, but I have no clue as of what to do. My PC is also connected to the TP-Link via a wireless dongle. I went into the wireless properties and changed it at TCP/IPv4 properties, but nothing happened. I did reset the Netgear and saw this at LAN Setup:
(Netgear)
IP Address: 192.168.0.1
IP Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

(TP-Link)
IP Address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Start IP: 192.168.1.100
End IP: 192.168.1.200
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

I finally managed to get it right. I changed the Netgear's ip to 192.168.1.80 and then unchecked DHCP server. I now can access the Netgear's webpage and the Readyshare. Thanks for the help.
