OK here's the deal: I am trying to connect my Telkom 100WR Wireless DSL router to my D-link Wireless Router (separated wireless networks due to distance) in order to enable file & printer sharing and internet access.

I have the Telkom DSL Router on 192.168.0.254, assigning DHCP addresses from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100. The Dlink has DHCP server turned off and IP 192.168.0.1. Attached to the D-Link is a NAS with IP 192.168.0.101. Both Routers connected via LAN port to LAN port. I have not changed any other default settings on either routers. All Windows firewalls disabled.

My problem is this: I can browse the Internet while attached to the wireless portion of the Telkom Router and ping all devices attached wirelessly to the D-Link. But: The D-link does not assign an IP to my laptop - do I need to manually configure an IP? If I do assign a static IP to my Laptop on the DLink, I can see all attached devices on the Telkom Router but I can't browse the net? Do I need to manually configure devices attached to the D-link? Should I be setting the gateway on these devices to the IP of the Telkom Router? I thought this should be automatic? Please help!

Welcome to the forums :D

Is your Telkom router in bridge mode? If I remember correctly (but I could be wrong, never used a Telkom router myself) it needs to be in bridge mode.
