Hi guys,

I'm wondering if any of you could assist me with this..

I would like to know if it is possible to connect a PS3 to my Xonar D2.
The reason is that I will be using the Logitech X530 5.1 system. (Besides the Xonar just sounds awesome too).

If it is indeed possible, how do I go about connecting them?

:)

hmmm. im just gonna take a stab here. I dnt know much about pcs and sound cards but here goes.... how do get visual from ur ps3? do u use hdmi and output to a lcd/plasma or do u use the RCA and output to SD? If ur using hdmi, you could use the optical output on the ps3 to connect to ur Xonar or if ur using the standard RCA, run the yellow cable to the tv and the red and white ones to ur sound card...suggestions anyone??

I'm gonna try connecting with DVI to a 20" LCD (HDCP compatible).
Then try optical to the Xonar, then analogue out to the X530.

Does this make sense? Possible?
