Connecting an Android device to a Cisco switch via concole cable

Hi everybody

I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to connect an Android based Phone\tablet, particularly the Galaxy Note 2 or Google Nexus 7, to a Cisco switch/router over its console port. Has anybody done this?

I have the USB converter and the necessary cables.

Surely if you have the required cables then its just a case of creating a serial connection in a terminal emulator with the required connection parameters?

Hi rocket boy. I unable to find a android app that supports serial connection in a terminal emulator.

I haven't used it myself, but you can get microcom, and launch it from an existing terminal emulator.
