Connecting an XBOX to PC speakers

OK, I'm very close to buying myself an Xbox. Probably the end of the month....probably. :rolleyes:

I'll get the VGA cable thingy to connect it to my LCD monitor, but how would I connect the Xbox to my Logitech Z2300s?

Obviously there'll be a special cable you can get, but my Google-Fu is weak and I can't find it. :o

Also I don't want to mess around at the back of my case everytime I need to switch between PC and Xbox. Is there something that I can plug into the back of both the PC and the Xbox, that'll have a switch that I can toggle between PC and Xbox?

Help?

I imagine it's not much more than an RCA pair to mini-jack convertor, which you can probably find somewhere like HiFi corp or Audiovision, or worst case scenario get one made up at a TV repair place.
 
Don't stress about it, at the end of the day you can probably jury rig something with some scooby wire, duct tape and bubble gum. ;)
 
I've just convinced myself to buy a set of logitec speakers :p
 
I'll make sure, I'm hopefully getting my 22" next month or in November too, as well as my 120GB HDD and these will make my xbox experiance so much better

Like a normal RCA pair (male) to mini-jack (female) convertor. All I need to do now is find something that I can use to switch between Xbox and PC without having to plug the speakers out and in the whole time.

yeah that's my prob.

i tried a dual port rca into one but does some funky stuff to the sound... i think the real solution is an amp

My solution will come next year with my new PC. Gonna get myself a Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality sound card. It's got an Optical in port.

I'll just run the xbox sound through the PC. :)

But that's still a while away.
