Pls forgive me if this is wrong forum, but I really need advice. I have a DSTV dish connected to the decoder. Also have two dedicated aerials for MNET/ETV and SABC channels. These two cables go into a Combiner, and from there to my MNET decoder. Flylead from MNET to DSTV decoder, from there to my videorecorder. there a lead goes into a Splitter - one cable to my close TV, and the other to my bedroom. Is this correctly done? TIA:confused:

Only thing I would change is to connect the DSTV Decoder to the Close TV (the one nearest to it) with the Yellow/White/Red RCA AV cables, INSTEAD of using the RF Aerial feed. Just connect them (using the colour coding) from the back of the DSTV decoder to the Back of your Close TV - into the AV1 / AV2 / AV3 INPUT sockets (depends on TV model).

That way all you do is change the Close TV to its AV INPUT setting (press a button on the remote) and you will get a FAR better picture - and STEREO audio to boot!!

You can also connect the DIGITAL AUDIO output from the DSTV (co-axial or optical) to a suitable Home Theatre Amplifier - thererby giving you FULL SURROUND SOUND as well!!!
