Connecting OVHD to old DualView DSTV Cables with satelite.

Hello.

I am trying to connect my OVHD to old Dualview DSTV connection.
This works well with TV one downstairs.... where the DSTV box was but upstairs... there is no connection.

Only used one DSTV dualview decorder. Is there anyway to connect the second TV upstairs?

Not a techie so please dont laugh or use big words hahaha

I'm having the same problem. Single dish with Smart LNB connected to OVHD in one room and DSTV Explora in another. Both working fine. Trying to replace Explora with 2nd OVHD decoder - no signal. Plug cable back into Explora - signal fine. All the while existing OVHD decoder working fine. .

OK - I figured it out. The DSTV Explora is supposed to be connected to a "unicable" port on the Smart LNB, of which there are 4. The OVHD decoders each need to be connected to one of the 2 "universal" ports. Problem solved.
