Connecting PS3 to Windows Vista - HELP!!!!

hi guys. i need help. i wanna connect my ps3 to my laptop so it can share the 3G/HSDPA internet connection. how can i connect it wirelessly(if possible) or via cable. But everytime i plug in the ethernet cable my laptop freezes. anyone know what to do?

freezes? sounds like windows to me.
But, assuming it did not freeze - I would think you need a X-over cable?
Not sure how a PS3 is wired, but would make sense.

thanks bro. i thought as much that it would be the cable. it was supplied with the ps3. ill just get my bro to make up a x over cable for me. thanks for the reply. really appreciate it.
